The multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed dryer requires a shorter drying time than a single-layer fluidized bed due to the uniform distribution of residence time. It can improve the uniformity of moisture content in dried products and make it easy to control the drying quality of the products. However, due to the increase in the number of layers, the multi-layer fluidized bed dryer needs to ensure the formation of a stable fluidized state between the layers, which increases the annual complexity of the equipment structure. For materials that remove bound moisture, using a multi-layer fluidized bed is appropriate.
